Pause. United. CFC 0-4 Ingleton

A composed and efficient performance against west lancs opposition Pause Untied saw us beat them 4-0 down at Bentham, their new home!

Pause had much more of the early possession but failed to create any chances, we went 1-0 up when skipper David Easterby rose highest at a corner a classic Bunny goal flying past the keeper.

This is the way it would remain until half time with both teams having a few half chances before the break, It didn’t talk long before we made it 2 with a delightful bit of play by impressive debutant Will Duncan pulled the ball back for Jonners Horton who send it into the goal after a few bites of the cherry. We went 3-0 when well worked play found it to the feet of teenage sensation Billy Metcalfe who sent a delightful ball through to the talisman himself Aaron Woodhouse who cooly slotted it home.

The fourth was added with 10 minutes to go when Aaron Woodhouse made a driving run into the box and laid it off for Tom McKenzie to add his 1st goal for the club and hopefully the first of many to come, Pause pushed to reply but couldn’t find a way through a well organised defence so the game would finish 4-0 to the mighty whites.

A great performance by all the lads young and veterans it’s a really good time to be part of the club especially winning in such emphatic fashion with players to come back into the squad, So if you fancy joining us please by all means join us train on Mondays and Wednesdays down on the primary school field.
